BLUE WATER PROJECT
An event film for Blauwasser Seemanagement GmbH
A documentary film that emotionally visualizes the vision and regional significance of a future project in Leipzig's New Lake District.
Projektziele & Auftraggeber
On September 16, 2023, the new Hafendorf Hain in Leipzig's New Lake District was officially opened – a key project for tourism, local recreation, and regional development. The goal was to create an event film that vividly captures the atmosphere, people, and messages and communicates them credibly.

UMSETZUNG & HERANGEHENSWEISE
Conception & theme planning
In consultation with the client, the focus was clearly on authentic original soundbites: mayors, representatives from business, tourism and residents were to describe the significance of the port village from their perspective.
Filming on location
I accompanied the opening all day in a documentary style – with atmospheric shots of the grounds, the speeches, and numerous interactions among the guests.
Visual storytelling
Entstanden ist ein ca. 3,5-minütiger Eventfilm, der Bildstimmungen, Menschen und Statements lebendig kombiniert – emotional, hochwertig, markenstärkend.
RESULT & ADDED VALUE
-
The film conveys the character of the port village of Hain as a future project with local roots and tourism potential.
-
The statements of regional personalities build trust and communicate the importance of the project in a comprehensible manner.
-
Ideal for public relations, location marketing, PR materials and social media.
